Lenders' Certificates

JbDesign can supply you with the Lenders' Certificates, sometimes known as Architects’ Certificates or Certificates of completion; that are often needed to unlock funds from banks or building societies for each stage of your development or extension project.

We are part of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and covered fully by Professional Indemnity Insurance so can be confident in the service you will receive. From the first meeting you have at JbDesign you will be fully guided through the process. You will of course have to supply all of the relevant information concerning the project for our appraisal.

This documentation may include:
  • Pre-planning application documents
  • Environmental report and site survey
  • Planning drawings
  • Planning consent, as well as discharge of any conditions
  • SAP calculations
  • Engineering calculations
  • Any other consultancy documents, i.e. Ecological survey, Structural survey to an existing building

If you have any concerns about any of these documents please inform us when you arrange a meeting as many of these fall within our own services and we may be able to offer help.

Following an initial meeting, site meeting will need to be arranged for the following stages of construction:
  • 1 - Floorslab / DPC (Damp Proof Course)
  • 2 - Wallplate
  • 3 - Watertight / Pre-Plaster
  • 4 - Completion
